Aloneness

 'Aloneness'

Aloneness is not when you don't have people around you, 

Aloneness is when you find yourself alone amid a huge crowd, 

When there are hundreds of people to say yours 

But none to trust and tell what you're going through,

When not a single person from the entire crowd 

Can see the tears behind that fake smile, 

When not a single person can hear that muted scream, 

When you know you need someone 

But still choose to walk away 

Thinking that nobody will understand, 

You better yourself find a way. 

You enjoy the company of nature 

More than that of the fellow sapians, 

When you start a journey to discover your true self

And free yourself into a thoughtful zone,

That's when you realize 

Aloneness is not being alone.
